English for Academics and Researchers
Today, the English language has become the language of communication at the global level, in all fields. In the academic field, scientific research is published in specialised scientific journals, and most of this research is published in English. If we want to communicate scientifically with the outside world; in terms of access to published science, publishing the research we produce, and participating in international conferences to exchange ideas, we have no choice but to be able to master the English language; reading, writing, listening, and speaking. All academics and researchers are required to read scientific research, understand it, take ideas from it to build future research on, write their research for publication in specialised journals, and address the global scientific audience at conferences and seminars, all in English. From here, it came the idea of the “English for Academics and Researchers” programme, in which we help university staff master English language skills, so that academics and researchers in universities are able to keep up with scientific development with confidence. To get the best results from this programme, it is recommended to have an acceptable level in the ‘General English Programme’.
الإنجليزية للأكاديميين والباحثين

English for University Students - ‘English for Academic Purposes’
This programme is part of the ‘English for Academic Purposes’ programme, which is a branch of the ‘English for Specific Purposes’ programme. The “English for Academic Purposes” programme aims to enable university students to use the English language skills to follow lectures, read books and research published in English, write reports and graduation projects, and apply for scholarships.

English for Business
English has become the dominant language in the field of business, trade and international relations, and at present the number of people who use the English language is estimated at one and a half billion people, which has automatically made it the language of business. It is the language used in international airports, restaurants, and cafes, and in official meetings, deals, and conferences. It is the language of communication between partners in China, Japan, America, Europe, Africa, and the Arab world. This has made it increasingly important in facilitating communication between companies and individuals. It has also become the language of facilitating tasks because it has become a common language (lingua franca) between all countries of the world, and it has made institutions and companies use English as the primary language in correspondence, negotiations, and concluding deals. ‘English for Tourism’ programme
The tourism sector is one of the fastest growing and developing sectors in various parts of the world. It is no secret to those working in the field of tourism and hospitality that the most widely used language in this field is English. No traveller intends to travel to any country without thinking about learning the principles of communication in English, because he will be forced to communicate with various services in this language. Given the availability of enormous tourism resources in some North African and Middle Eastern countries, the tourism sector is on the verge of great openness, with these countries becoming destinations for tourists and investors of different nationalities and cultures. This requires qualified personnel in the tourism and services sector to communicate with these partners, and there is no doubt that dealing with such partners can only be done in English as the common language of communication.
The ‘English for Tourism program’ aims to qualify workers in the tourism and hospitality services sector to acquire English language skills that will enable them to communicate with various customers. يعد قطاع السياحة من أسرع القطاعات نمواً وتطوراً في مختلف أنحاء العالم. لا يخفى على العاملين في مجال السياحة والضيافة أن اللغة الأكثر استخداماً في هذا المجال هي اللغة الإنجليزية. لا ينوي أي مسافر السفر إلى أي بلد دون أن يفكر في تعلم مبادئ التواصل باللغة الإنجليزية، لأنه سيضطر إلى التواصل مع مختلف الخدمات بهذه اللغة. ونظراً لتوافر موارد سياحية هائلة في بعض دول شمال أفريقيا والشرق الأوسط، فإن قطاع السياحة مقبل على انفتاح كبير، حيث أصبحت هذه الدول مقصداً للسياح والمستثمرين من مختلف الجنسيات والثقافات. وهذا يتطلب كوادر مؤهلة في قطاع السياحة والخدمات للتواصل مع هؤلاء الشركاء، ولا شك أن التعامل مع هؤلاء الشركاء لا يمكن أن يتم إلا باللغة الإنجليزية باعتبارها لغة التواصل المشتركة

‘English for Media’ programme
The media sector in the modern era requires continuous monitoring of rapid developments at the local and global levels, and global media outlets in developed countries have taken the lead, given that they are major decision-makers. Given the number of followers who prefer media outlets that use English as the language of publication and discourse, media workers have become in dire need of following sources of information, which the English language has taken over. The English for Media programme aims to develop the English language skills of workers in the media field, as the programme contributes to developing communication skills through mastery of the English language specialised in the field of media, which enables them to work and deliver their messages with confidence and effectiveness.
The English for Media programme includes multiple fields in the media sector, examples of which include (1) newspapers, (2) radio, (3) magazines, (4) television, (5) films, (6) new media (7) advertising and (8) marketing, focusing on areas within individual specialties and of personal interest. In addition to teaching the principles of the English language, the courses contribute to the development of profession-specific skills.
