General English Programme
The general English programme is a programme suitable for everyone, at different ages, interested in learning English for different purposes. The General English programme develops the four language skills:
(1) reading
(2) writing
(3) listening
(4) speaking
The programme also develops communication skills, which gives you confidence and the ability to deal with various situations that you face in your daily life. Through the communication methodology on which the teaching method is based, you can practice listening, speaking, reading and writing skills on a daily basis. The general English programme helps you improve your pronunciation and develop grammar and vocabulary skills. If you have specific learning goals, you can join the General English programme at the level of study that suits you, and at a time that suits you. In order to be placed at the appropriate level for you, an assessment is carried out before you start studying.

English language levels
Our English language teaching programmes are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL), an international standard for describing language ability across the four language learning skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. This standard describes the linguistic ability of learners through a scale consisting of 6 levels: A1 – A2 – B1 – B2 – C1 – C2 (A1: Beginners and C2: Proficient), and below is a brief description of each level.

| Upper Intermediate | B2 | The learner can understand the main ideas of complex text in each of the topics, especially in his or her field. Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity on a regular basis with native speakers without straining either party. Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of topics and explain his or her point of view on topical issues giving the pros and cons of different options. |
